Bromelain And Cordyceps: Safety Notes Worth Knowing
Bromelain and Cordyceps militaris are two of RespiClear's five ingredients, each with a genuine, documented interaction consideration that deserves attention before you start.
Neither is a reason to avoid the formula outright for most people, but both are worth understanding clearly first.
Bromelain and blood thinners
Bromelain is an enzyme derived from pineapple stem, studied for its association with reducing swelling and inflammation, indexed on PubMed. It also has a documented ability to increase the effect of blood-thinning medication (including warfarin and aspirin), through effects on platelet function.
Cordyceps and immune or blood-sugar medication
Cordyceps militaris is a traditional fungus studied for its association with oxygen utilisation and stamina, indexed on PubMed. Some research has raised the possibility of interactions with immunosuppressant medication (due to potential immune-modulating effects) and with diabetes medication (due to potential blood-sugar effects).
Why this matters more than a typical footnote
Two out of five ingredients in a formula carrying real interaction considerations is worth taking seriously, not treating as boilerplate disclaimer language. A responsible product should flag both clearly, which is why we are giving them a dedicated page rather than only mentioning them once in a footer.
If neither applies to you
For healthy adults not on blood thinners, immunosuppressants or diabetes medication, both ingredients are generally considered reasonable inclusions in a respiratory support formula, each contributing a genuinely different, useful mechanism.
Applying this to RespiClear
Both Bromelain and Cordyceps militaris are among RespiClear's five ingredients. We think this is worth knowing clearly before you order, not discovering afterward.
